Le Liang is a Professor in the School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. He received the B.E. degree in information engineering from Southeast University in 2012, the M.A.Sc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs, Hillsboro, USA.

His main research interests are in wireless communications, signal processing, and machine learning. The current focus is on the theory and application of intelligent wireless systems, including learning-based communication signal processing, radio resource management, and machine learning over wireless networks.

Dr. Liang serves as an Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters (2019-now). He served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE JSAC Series on Machine Learning in Communications and Networks (2020-2022). He is a member of the Machine Learning for Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (2021-now). He was a Technical Program Committee co-chair of the 18th International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems (ISWCS) in 2022. He received the Best Paper Award of IEEE/CIC ICCC in 2014 and was named an Exemplary Reviewer of the IEEE Wireless Communications Letters in 2018.
